Christmas in New York

Last year I was lucky enough to spend Christmas in New York, after my dad booked us a surprise trip. Being typical us, he booked this about two days before we left, and it took and it took a good 24 hours for me to actually believe him considering his usual sarcastic tendencies. Being an avid Gossip Girl fan and Christmas movie watcher, I knew NYC would be magical at this time of year, however nothing I could imagine would prepare me for how amazing it was. Nothing, to me, will compare to being in Time Square with my family when it snowed, or taking a cold winter's morning walk around central park. I feel so blessed to have had the experience I did, and honestly thought the photos are too beautiful not to share my travels, so enjoy!

Rockefeller plaza ice skating and tree
How arty farty of you Lizzy

Juicy Couture

The Rockette's Christmas spectacular, which of course, in the middle of New York, would have camels and goats in it...

Tiffany window displays are possibly cuter than a baby sloth

The Palace's courtyard (where Serena Van Der Woodsen lived in GG)

Only the place where Blair and Chuck got married!!! Pass me my inhaler

'The Steps' where Blair Waldorf and her minions ate lunch

Probably the poshest  school I've ever seen for super duper rich kids

Do we all agree that New York is beautiful and that Lizzy needs to calm down on the GG obsession? I hope you did enjoy looking at the pictures anyway as I'm sure secretly we all enjoy noseying into snippets of other's lives and I also thought it would be a nice way to get to know me a little better:)

Now I think I shall do some A-level procrastinating and watch Elf, see you at the weekend.
