How to: Christmas Sundays

Three cheers for the fact I have the day of work, which means it is finally time for my festive sundays instalment. This one I am doing slightly differently to my Autumn Sundays which you can view here, so bare with and lets see how many times I can use the words christmas and festive in one post!

What to wear
Your choice of a christmas onesie like this or christmas pyjamas like these tucked into christmas socks like these and concealed in christmas slippers like these, with a Santa hat to top the look off. Don't say I didn't warn you.

What to drink
Start the day with the non-alcoholic Mulled Wine Instant Tea from Whittard of Chelsea, then later in the day perhaps treat yourself to one of the Christmas drinks on offer from Starbucks or Costa (Costa's honeycomb hot chocolate is my favourite.) One thought this brings up is why is it socially acceptable to get a McDonald's take out in your pyjamas but not a Costa?

What to eat
This is simple. If it is green or is kept in a fruit bowl don't eat it. Always have a packet of Dairy Milk's giant buttons by your side and follow each meal with a Mince Pie.

What to watch
Your choice of Elf, A Christmas Carol, The Grinch, Home Alone, The Polar Express, The Snowman, Miricle on 34th Street, The Santa Clause, The Holiday, The Greatest Store in the World or whatever film takes your fancy. 10 points to those who watch two films today.

Which candles to burn
I appear to be the only person on this planet who gets a bit sick in their mouth at the smell of the Yankee Candle Christmas range. For me its all about the warm smell's of Marks and Spencer's Winter candle, or The White Company's Pomegranate candle, which is a cheaper alternative to Jo Malone's Pomegranate Noir. But of course have the scent you like most.

Remember to keep your fairy lights on all day, and let me know what you're doing this sunday.
See you underneath the Mistletoe
